Housing assistance

For Long Stay Student Lease, you may apply for a housing assitance on the french government website.

APL, Aide Personnalisée au Logement
The amount of the APL depends on the beneficiary's income and the expenses devoted to their accommodation.
This information is included in your lease, it is reflected in particular by the allocation of an agreement number.
The APL is paid monthly. The allowance is paid to you from the 1st day of the month following the allocation.

The agreement: this is a legal rental regime by which the lessor signs an agreement with the State, in return for assistance that he has obtained to build or carry out work on a dwelling. This agreement determines a maximum rent, technical characteristics, layout, etc.

For students, we usually see an average of 120 to 180 euros of monthly housing assistance.
